| For the past two decades the Mike Wolf Tennis Academy has specialized in junior tennis development, taking kids from all age groups from start through the college tennis finish line. With so much growth over the years, and a track record that speaks volumes for itself, the MWTA has decided to expand its knowledge and expertise beyond junior tennis development. For the Summer of 2008, the MWTA is proud to announce that, upon completion of the new Clayview Country Club, it will be offering high intensity training for adults as well!
The adult program will be separated into men’s and women’s sessions, and by ability level using the USTA player rating system as well as the Kansas City Tencap system. Clinics will be offered for beginner, intermediate and advanced players eager to get to a much higher level in either singles and/or doubles. The MWTA will also be offering training sessions for college-level players, including for those that have recently graduated and wish to further excel through tournament competition. If you’re an adult over the age of 18 and looking to improve your game, or just have a great time hitting the ball, then our adult program is the place for you.
Heading up our adult academy is California native Pablo Mazlumian, who came to the MWTA a few years ago with a wealth of experience teaching adults and juniors from south Florida to southern California. Pablo, along with the rest of the MWTA staff, will be available to schedule private and semi-private lessons as well. At this time, dates and times for these sessions are still to be determined.
The MWTA also plans to get involved with the USTA adult tennis league, as well as Kansas City’s Tencap league starting Fall 2008. So if you’ve got your competitive juices flowing and are also looking for a fun way to get phenomenal exercise, meet new people and test your tennis skills, you’ll want to stay tuned for updated information.
