About Our Tennis Academy
 The Mike Wolf Tennis Academy (MWTA) was founded in 1988 with the idea that quality junior, collegiate, and professional players could be developed and trained in the mid-west. Traditionally, many of the accomplished players who had more lofty goals would migrate south to tennis academies where they could play outside year round and have a variety of competition. For many, this type of an environment was a necessity to reach the next level.
The MWTA saw an opportunity to meet the needs of the more committed player. With proper planning, structure, discipline, motivation, and perseverance, similar results or better could be produced at home. The MWTA takes ordinary players and helps them achieve extraordinary results. We also take the more accomplished player and teach them the skills necessary to be successful at the highest levels. The MWTA isn’t for everyone, but it is for the player who wants to do what it takes to improve.

We Get Results!
 Since 1988, the MWTA players have finished first, second, or third at the USTA Level 1 National Championship Tournaments 81 times. The most impressive aspect of this record is that most of these players were developed from scratch by the MWTA staff. It’s also important to note that virtually all of those players finished their junior careers at the MWTA. As collegians and professionals these players continue to return and train. When players at this level, who have been exposed to the highest standards of coaching and competition, choose to further their development at the MWTA it speaks volumes about the capabilities of our program. It also highlights the importance of each player having a consistent, specifically designed plan of development. Establishing the specific course for development is one of our primary areas of expertise.
The MWTA has primarily recruited within a six- state region. Although players have traveled from 15 states to train with us, our focus has been in the mid-west. As our players have continued to succeed nationally and internationally we’ve decided to expand our recruiting efforts. We are looking for players that genuinely want to make the sacrifices and commitments, on and off the court, that are commensurate with significant improvement.

We Are Developers!
The MWTA has a system in place that specifically develops players’ games in a way that is tailored to their individual capabilities. As a modest size academy we will always maintain this high level of personal attention. Within the overall system a tremendous priority is given to private instruction. This is a must for an aspiring player. The ability to maintain an individualized focus within an academy setting has allowed the MWTA players to progress to their full potential. The key element in private instruction is the person giving it.

Highly Qualified and Experienced Staff Members
 The Mike Wolf Tennis Academy Staff has proven that it can take players from all ability levels and various developmental stages and make them better. There is also a high priority given to coaches being present at the major sectional and national events. The tournament environment is a great place to teach. Private instruction and tournament coaching will be emphasized.

Numerous MWTA Players have Advanced to Play Tennis at the Collegiate and Professional Levels
The MWTA’s most impressive results are evident when looking at the Colleges and Universities that our players attend each year. The list is a “who’s who” of academic and tennis excellence. Some players will go beyond the collegiate tennis level and we will certainly facilitate and encourage their continued growth, however, our primary goal for most of our players is for us to assist them in attending the school of their dreams. The MWTA staff takes pride in helping our players begin their young adult lives in the best-suited and most positive environment.
